Job Description

POSITION: TEAM MEMBER EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY : Responsible for Team Member on-boarding, engagement activities, discount programs, communication, and recognition programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Partner with Recruiting to coordinate on-boarding activities and orientation.

Assist with facilitation of new hire orientation, coordinate with hiring departments for smooth entry to designated work groups.

Monitor and follow-up with new hires 60-days post hire to address on-boarding deficits or concerns

Develop program to obtain and track results for exit interviews.

Assist Team Members with online training process.

Coordinate Team Member activities and special events to secure event space, staff, timelines, food and beverage, speakers, materials, prizes, gifts, etc.

Prepare and deploy Team Member communications (posters, e-bulletin boards, newsletter, email, flyers) for Team Member activities including but not limited to: special events, recognition, discounts, training programs, etc.

Partner with Training Specialist to manage Tribal Member career development programs.

Develop and maintain accounting records of expenses for Team Member activities and events.

Identify and negotiate with vendors for Team Member discounts and effectively communicate availability to Team Members.

Coordinate team member focused community outreach programs (Toys4Tots, food drives, etc.).

Administrate recognition program of service anniversaries and birthdays to coordinate award presentations and celebrations.

Assist with development and delivery of training classes to meet organizational development goals.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Indicate if Qualification is Required or Preferred):

1. Education: High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent required; 4-year degree in related field preferred.

2. Work Experience: Two (2) years experience in employment engagement, training, and event planning required.

3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other HR database systems required.

b. Must have strong organizational and planning skills.

c. Must possess excellent communication (written/verbal) skills and be able to communicate one-on-one and to small/large groups.

d. Must be able to maintain professional composure to deescalate tense situations to effectively resolve conflicts and concerns.

e. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

4. Must be at least: 18 years of age.

5. Must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.

6. Must participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
