The Opportunity:

Works independently under close supervision, analyze financial data to identify the company’s financial status. Conduct cost and benchmarking analysis. Preparing budget reports. Develop financial models, taking legal limitations into consideration. Participate in regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans. Create forecast models based on current and past financial results.

The Corporate FP&A Analyst will assist in the consolidation and reporting of global management forecasting and results analysis. This associate will actively partner with finance leadership to continuously provide critical information, unbiased facts, risks and opportunities, and support action planning to enhance growth and operating results. Effective communication and coordination with global FP&A associates will be a key for success. This role will work with the Corporate FP&A team on complex assignments involved especially in supporting/utilizing new reporting and planning environments as the organization undergoes a transformation in its financial systems.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinates with global FP&A teams on corporate expectations, timing, and standardization of deliverables.
• Assists in preparing and reviewing monthly results and analysis to determine methods of increasing operating productivity through revenue generation, margin expansion and/or cost control.
• Works to consolidate and review the accuracy of planning inputs for reporting and analysis.
• Contributes to building new reporting and analytical solutions using the SAP suite of finance applications.
• Updates monthly/quarterly/annual financial presentation packages for review with leadership, the board of directors or investors.
• Assists with quarterly public company reporting requirements associated with earnings release.
• Ability to understand financial models and problem solve various business issues.
• Aids in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures and recommends ideas based upon analytical review of factual data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting or in equivalent quantitative/analytically focused subject area.
• Entry Level up to 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, data connections, advanced formulas) required.
• Knowledge of ERP systems desirable but not required.
• Knowledge of business analytics and data visualization software/techniques desirable but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational skills and documentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time, problem solve, and work as part of a team are crucial.
• Detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
• Regular interaction with Finance leadership required with the ability to communicate at that level is a must.
• High energy and eagerness to demonstrate personal initiative.
• Flexibility and adaptability to a changing work environment and enthusiasm for continued learning.
