Part-time Bookkeeper (Flexible Schedule /Hybrid Remote)

We provide concierge-quality accounting services – including bookkeeping, fractional CFO services, and financial modeling – to an exciting and dynamic portfolio of clients who look to us to help them scale their bottom line. InLyne is part of the WLF PC family of professional advisory teams. We have an immediate opening for a part-time experienced bookkeeper to join our team.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

- Monitor and ensure the accuracy of bookkeeping tasks performed by bookkeepers;

- Conduct quality checks and provide feedback for improvements;

- Enter advanced bookkeeping entries, including accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, and depreciation;

- Identify inefficiencies in bookkeeping processes and implement solutions to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and optimize productivity;

- Assist with budgeting, financial analysis and forecasting, and expense tracking activities;

- Review payroll reports for accuracy and enter necessary entries to record payroll;

- Establish standardized procedures to ensure accurate and seamless handoff of financial records;

- Review financial reports and statements for management, clients, and regulatory purposes;

- Assess and implement accounting software tools that facilitate efficient bookkeeping processes;

- Maintain client communication between bookkeeper and client;

- Maintain data security and confidentiality in all bookkeeping activities; and,

- Document bookkeeping procedures, guidelines, and best practices for future reference and training purposes.

Education: Degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting or related role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software. Experience with payroll processing and reporting.

Mindset: You’re organized, detail oriented, and a problem solver ready to jump in and make an impact. You have the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

- Quickbooks certified.

- Experience with financial analysis and forecasting.

- Experience in training and mentoring junior staff preferred.

Type of Position: Part-time (20 to 30 hours a week)

Hourly Rate : Starting pay is $25-$40 per hour based on experience.
