Wound Care Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse (RN) to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) facility . The ideal candidate will specialize in wound assessment, treatment, and prevention , ensuring optimal healing and patient comfort. This role is crucial in promoting quality care and improving residents' health outcomes.
Assess, treat, and document chronic and acute wounds following evidence-based practices.
Develop and implement individualized wound care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
Monitor and evaluate wound healing progress, adjusting treatments as needed.
Educate staff and residents on wound prevention strategies and best practices.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations for wound care management.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of wound care assessments and treatments .
Utilize infection control measures to minimize risks of complications.
Licensed RN in [State]
1+ years of experience in wound care or long-term care nursing.
