JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a talented Workday Interface Engineer with specialized experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) migration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing ETL solutions that ensure seamless transitions and optimized data management within new HCM environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and other third-party systems.

• Utilize Workday integration tools like EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday Studio, and Core Connectors to build robust interfaces.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth data exchanges and interface performance.

• Handle complex data transformations to facilitate accurate data flow between systems.

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end validation of interfaces.

• Manage deployment processes, including version control and documentation of integration updates.

• Work closely with business analysts, Workday functional consultants, and IT teams to gather requirements and provide integration solutions aligned with business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Workday Expertise: Experience with Workday integration tools such as EIB, Workday Studio, and Core Connectors.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for resolving complex integration issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Typically 3-5 years of experience in Workday HCM, with a focus on system integrations.

Preferred Skills:

• Workday certification (e.g., Workday Certified Integration Consultant).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in data management.
• Understanding of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards related to HCM data.
