SPECIFIC TASKS:

1. Monitors the performance of all equipment, gauges and charts in the treatment plant, pump stations, storage pond with aerators, and irrigation fields.
2. Records statistical data concerning plant operations.
3. Maintains, operates, repairs, and replaces equipment as necessary.
4. Perform daily operations of field pivots as required to maintain storage pond level.
5. Charts lab test results for trend analysis and maintains accurate records of analyses and test results.
6. Evaluates data and issues weekly report to plant engineer.
7. Collects samples and identifies concentrations of chemical, physical or biological characteristics of wastewater required in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.
8. Performs quality control tests on lab equipment and lab analyses.
9. Maintain a clean work area
10. Any problems should be reported immediately to Supervisor.
11. Perform any other task as directed by the Supervisor.
12. Comply with Company policies and safety requirements

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Class C or above wastewater operators license.
2. High School Diploma or GED.
3. Work with moving parts / equipment.
4. Knowledge of computer systems
5. Able to work any shift including overtime and/or weekends
6. Able to speak, read and write effectively in English.
