Our client, a leading global manufacturer of specialty materials, is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 9-month contract opportunity in Atlanta, GA. This company specializes in advanced resins and engineered solutions used across multiple industries, including construction, automotive, and industrial manufacturing.

In this role, you will support financial planning and analysis by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities. You will analyze cost structures, profitability trends, and business performance metrics to provide valuable insights for decision-making. Additionally, you will prepare financial reports, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support ad hoc financial modeling and special projects as needed.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Analyze cost structures, profitability trends, and business performance metrics
• Support month-end and quarter-end financial close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making
• Assist with ad hoc financial modeling, scenario analysis, and special projects as needed

Financial Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and financial modeling
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (SAP experience is a plus)
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present actionable insights
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
