Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our team and provide virtual education to students who require vision support. This part-time, flexible opportunity is perfect for experienced TVIs who are eager to work remotely and make a meaningful difference in students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver virtual instruction and tailored support to students with visual impairments, ensuring a positive learning experience.
Develop and implement personalized Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on each student's unique needs and learning style.
Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and school staff to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Use assistive technology and online tools to effectively engage students and enhance their learning experience.
Monitor student progress regularly and make adjustments to instruction as needed to help students meet their goals.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license.
Previous experience as a TVI, ideally in a virtual setting.
Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage student needs and progress.
Proficiency with assistive technologies and virtual teaching platforms.
Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup for remote teaching.
