Job Description

Are you a dedicated and passionate Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) looking to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through innovative teletherapy services? We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled TVI to join our team and support visually impaired students across Missouri in a remote learning environment.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) with a current Missouri license to provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while delivering high-quality education tailored to each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the specific needs and goals of each student.

Provide Virtual Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective virtual lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles of visually impaired students.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with families, educators, and other specialists to ensure a comprehensive support system for each student.

Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of student progress, lesson plans, and communications to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Missouri TVI License: Must hold an active Teacher for the Visually Impaired license in Missouri.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.

Technological Proficiency: Comfortable using virtual platforms and assistive technologies to deliver instruction and support.

Experience Preferred: Previous experience working with visually impaired students is highly desirable.
