Steam Plant Mechanic
MR07 - Starting rate depending on candidate qualifications and experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions. Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts, such as safety valves or regulators, using torches, threading dies, welding equipment, or metalworking machinery. Applicant for this position must have the ability to repair boilers, pumps, turbines, compressors, fabricate fan housings, and other items for use in steam plant.
