Work hard, have fun and make history with Amazon Public Policy. The Senior Manager, Public Policy will join a growing, dynamic team and will immediately make an impact with an expanding portfolio of projects.

We seek a leader to assist in developing and coordinating fast-moving policy strategy in support of Amazon’s policy priorities to Strive to Be Earth’s Best Employer. The Senior Manager, Public Policy will serve in a liaison capacity between Public Policy and multiple business partners. They will create and implement a management framework and assist in the planning, coordination, and direction of programs and daily operations of the policy team. Understanding the big picture, connecting the dots, and diving deep in research will be essential to success in this role. The ideal candidate will be organized, strategic, and will have experience developing and leading state government cross-team campaigns. This position will work collaboratively with others in public policy and relevant businesses to ensure alignment between business priorities and public policy goals.

This position will report to the Director, Public Policy and work closely with other public policy team members to execute on strategy.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BS/BA required.
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in public policy, government, or trade associations on relevant topics.
• Demonstrated depth of experience in shaping workforce & employment public policy.
• An ability and desire to travel is required.
