Job Description

[solidcore] is looking for a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to join our team. The Brand Marketing team is responsible for the growth and impact of the [solidcore] brand strategy and brand activation. Our fast-growing brand marketing team understands our clients, drives innovation, and delivers impact by enabling our clients to become the strongest version of themselves. The Senior Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for our PR strategy and activation, executing new studio opening marketing strategies, and growing our national partnerships program. 

Located in Arlington, VA and reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, investor-backed organization with a desire to be the leader in the studio fitness space.

Requirements

  • Focus on crafting and driving impactful public relations strategies that enhance our visibility and solidify our reputation as a leader in the fitness industry.
  • Drive proactive PR initiatives, collaborate with internal teams to create compelling narratives, and implement effective strategies across all channels—earned and owned.
  • Manage and partner with PR agency to drive efficiencies, develop 2025 strategy and hold the agency accountable.
  • Strategize marketing and communication campaigns for new studio openings to ensure 360˚ integration of brand activation and messaging across multiple consumer touch points including public relations, influencer, and partnerships.
  • Support manager to execute locally-focused, high-impact marketing initiatives aimed at building awareness and driving leads for new studio locations.
  • Support National Partnership Program in core collective as well as identify new partnership opportunities that will amplify brand awareness and consideration.
  • Identify and manage new partnering opportunities and purpose enhancements to existing partnership motions, contributing to continuous growth and innovation within the account.
  • Track and report on key KPIs, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance performance.
  • Work closely with the field leadership team on identifying and supporting local initiatives in line with studio prioritization levels.
  • Analyze and translate local market trends and consumer insights into business insights that inform strategies to grow the business and unlock new opportunities.
  • Track budgets and scope of work to ensure maximum ROI and overall expenditures.
  • Responsible for one (1) direct report.

What we're looking for:

  • At least 5-6 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations is required
  • Proven experience in leading media relations, crafting press materials, and securing media placements is essential
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities through to completion with precise attention to detail and ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Experience building comprehensive local marketing strategies that are able to tell a story and gain buy-in across multiple stakeholders.
  • Work well under pressure and can effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands to appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates highly effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across multiple organizations and management levels
  • Strong understanding of PR strategy, partnerships and execution.
  • Familiarity with working alongside internal partners and external agencies to deliver cross-functional PR campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives
