Are you an accounting professional with a passion for wildlife conservation? Consider joining the Accounting team as we support the programs carrying out the mission of the Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), this position independently performs the more difficult accounting duties associated with the establishment and maintenance of the Federal Trust Fund accounts and records for the Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW). The incumbent will act as the Federal Unit lead in the absence of the Associate Accounting Analyst.

Headquartered in our new high-rise building located in downtown Sacramento, this position has the opportunity of being eligible for remote centered hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California.

The new Natural Resources Building is right next to Light Rail for an easy commute and features ergonomic furniture, panoramic downtown views, a free employee gym, a cafeteria and bodega, and adjacent childcare.

In order to be eligible for this position, you must either be transfer eligible or take and pass the following exam.
