We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to manage routes effectively and handle various types of vehicles, including dump trucks, tankers, and roll-off trucks.

Duties

• Freight is primarily refrigerated drop & hook loads.
• Load and unload freight securely and efficiently.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries while ensuring timely arrival at destinations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Home Time: Weekends at home

Job Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving.
Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
Ability to handle freight loading and unloading tasks safely.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
