CSWI’s Engineered Building Solutions segment manufactures custom architectural building components and innovative firestopping and smoke-rated products that help protect people. Safety and code compliance are top of mind for architects, engineers and contractors. Our brands include Balco, Greco Architectural Metal Products, and Smoke Guard.

The role of the Recruiter is to ensure that our company attracts and hires high quality candidates, while growing a strong talent pipeline. This role collaborates with HR team members and department managers to guide the hiring process and ensure that roles are filled in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the hiring process, act as a point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, and ensure that open roles are filled in a timely manner with qualified candidates.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards.
  • Promote company’s reputation as a “great place to work”.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, job fairs, etc.
  • Build candidate relationships during the selection process and ensure that candidates have positive interactions with our company.
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates.
  • Onboard new employees and assist with New Employee Orientations.
  • Create and update hiring procedures, interview packets, forms, and training materials as needed.

Qualifications (Knowledge & Skills)

  • Able to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Able to assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience and aptitudes.
  • Familiarity with HR software, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and onboarding systems.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and changing legislation as they relate to the hiring process.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits offerings and best practices in compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a high level of interpersonal skills; and the ability to help candidates feel comfortable throughout the hiring process.
  • Able to work collaboratively with direct team members, or across departments, and work independently as needed.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) and HR software used for recruiting, screening and dispositioning candidates.

Education

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience as a Recruiter (in-house or with a staffing agency). Experience recruiting for manufacturing or construction roles is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Physical Locations: This position works in a professional office environment, routinely uses standard office equipment, and is seated for long periods of time.
  • Location: This role is located in our Boise, ID office and may work from home up to two days per week.
  • Travel: This position requires some travel, approximately 2 - 4 times per year.
