Provides and supervise mail and related services at a CUNY location. There are two Assignment Levels for this position and all personnel perform related work. This specification describes typical assignments in this position; related duties may be assigned as needed.

The Mail and Messenger Services department welcomes applications for a full-time Mail and Messenger Services Worker position. This position will be in Provisional status and will report to the Manager of the Administrative Operations department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Experience using Pitney Bowes Smart Mailer System or other similar platform, including operating envelope inserter/stuffer, and using the tracking system to monitor receipt and delivery of incoming and outgoing parcels
-Experience with bulk mail processing and delivery including knowledge of USPS mailing regulations
-Knowledge of delivery logistics
-Experience working with a print shop
-Software skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) or graphic design (InDesign, Canva, Adobe PDFs) preferred
-Strong customer service skills
-Ability to meet tight deadlines
COMPENSATION
Suppressed $ 29,134
Incumbent $ 32,919
Salary rates are subject to collective bargaining and will be adjusted as per the DC37 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary adjustments are implemented retroactively.
