Location:  This position will work in a hybrid model with both work from home (remote) days each Monday & Friday, as well as on-site days at the West Des Moines, IA office each Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Zirous offers a flexible schedule so that you can work to meet clients needs and your personal needs. On-site days as described will be required for this role, local candidates within the Des Moines, IA metro will be given priority.

What you’d be doing:

  • Improves business processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications systems for clients. Leads multiple projects and oversees developers to ensure that specifications are met. Schedules projects, resources, and monitors project timelines and budgets. 
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with clients, team members and other practice areas involved in projects. 
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 
  • Works closely with other Project Management Office (PMO) team members to accomplish company, client and personal goals. Strives to expand professional and personal skills through a variety of assigned activities. Takes direction from the Vice President of PMO. 
  • Performs a variety of tasks.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, Business Analytics, Communication, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must possess skills required of Bachelor's degree plus show evidence and desire to lead, direct, and think strategically. 
  • Project Coordinator has demonstrated ability to positively interact with clients in order to maintain good standing which includes, but is not limited to, gathering requirements, use and test cases, providing status updates, and acting as liaison. 
  • Position has proven ability to lead and provide guidance to less experienced team members. Position must be able to effectively manage multiple projects and resources and provide technical solutions to clients. 
  • The ability to handle employee relations within a team and work through difficult situations is a must. 
  • The Project Coordinator will assign tasks, follow up with assignee and have proven ability to delegate responsibility.
