Job Description

Full-time, Hybrid Position.

Our client is seeking a Product Owner to serve as the bridge between their cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You'll own the product vision, manage the product backlog, and ensure that the development team is aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the vision for the product and communicate it effectively to the team and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories, ensuring that the most critical and valuable requirements are at the forefront.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and marketers to oversee the development stages and ensure the product aligns with user needs and business goals.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders, gathering requirements, and delivering updates to ensure everyone is aligned.
  • Evaluate product progress at each iteration and provide feedback to the team.
  • Lead the planning of product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
  • Analyze market and competitive conditions, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in product management.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and comfortable with managing projects that involve technology components.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
