Clinical Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery Unit

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of L&D nurses while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
• Implement and maintain evidence-based clinical practices to enhance maternal and fetal health outcomes
• Oversee unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource management
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and communication across departments
• Monitor and improve patient satisfaction metrics and clinical outcomes
• Manage unit budget and resource allocation effectively
• Develop and implement staff training and professional development programs

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of L&D nursing experience
• Previous supervisory experience in healthcare setting
• BLS certification required
• NRP and ACLS certifications required within 90 days of hire
• RNC-OB certification required within 6 months of hire
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification preferred
