Responsibilities:
• Employ creative networking and sales strategies to generate leads that convert prospective clients into new clients
• Ensure up-to-date information within insurance company databases to effectively drive sales and current customers
• Modify insurance coverage, as needed, by regularly assessing their accuracy, coverage, and limits
• Compose tailored policy options, quotes, and educational materials to prospective and existing insurance clients
• Maintain a high standard of customer service excellence when solving billing, policy change, claims, or coverage related issues
• Sales Generation: Actively prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, and outreach to meet sales targets
• Client Consultation: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal lines insurance products, including auto, home, renters, and umbrella insurance
• Quoting and Proposals: Prepare and present quotes to clients, highlighting the benefits and features of various insurance options
• Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients to enhance retention and encourage referrals
• Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging risks to better serve clients
Qualifications:
• Effective collaborator with a goal-oriented approach to achieving sales success
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office mandatory; proficiency in agency management systems preferred
• Experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for personal lines
• State-issued, valid insurance license(s) required: Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are a must
• A valid, state-issued insurance license is mandatory: Property and Casualty Insurance License. Life and Health Insurance Licenses are also preferred
