Title: Oracle ETL Developers

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to support the migration of legacy OWB mappings to ODI. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in re-engineering and optimizing ETL processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition to modern Oracle integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing OWB mappings, process flows, and metadata.

• Design and develop equivalent ETL processes in ODI (preferably ODI 12c).

• Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and business analysts to ensure migration aligns with business and technical requirements.

• Develop and maintain documentation for the migration process and data flow mappings.

• Optimize and refactor ETL logic during migration for performance and maintainability.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting post-migration.

• Support deployment and post-migration testing in various environments (DEV, UAT, PROD).

• Train and guide internal teams on ODI processes and best practices, if needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with ETL tools, including at least 2 years with ODI.

• Proven experience in OWB and hands-on experience migrating OWB projects to ODI.

• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.

• Experience working with Oracle databases and data warehousing concepts.

• Familiarity with data modeling and metadata management.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ODI 12c (Knowledge of ODI components, packages, load plans, mappings).

• Knowledge of performance tuning in both OWB and ODI environments.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps CI/CD processes.
