Internship Overview

  • Position: Marketing Intern/Social Media Intern
  • Start Date: February 2025
  • Duration: 3-6 months
  • Location: Hybrid - Remote Work and occasional in-person meetings
  • Workload : 5-10 hours per Week
  • Compensation: We currently cannot offer compensation as an early-stage pre-revenue startup. What we can promise is professional development, a strong portfolio, and a network of experienced mentors you can rely on for guidance and career growth
  • Requirement: Must be currently enrolled in a 2-4 year undergraduate program based in or near Atlanta

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Marketing/Social Media Intern , you will focus on:

Physical and Digital Media:

  • Material Design: Assist in designing, creating, and bringing to life new materials for in-person and digital outreach for the Sonaara app using platforms such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, GIMP, etc.
  • Social Media Campaigning: Create materials for our social media accounts, leveraging polished, informative, and trendy ideas to highlight and showcase Sonaara’s strengths and uniqueness in the online dating and social meetup market.
  • Personal Outreach: Work closely with the team to spread awareness of Sonaara through in-person events and campus involvement.

Marketing Strategy:

  • Multi-Platform Engagement: Connect with our target audiences through creative campaigns across social media, email, and other digital platforms.
  • Data and Analytics: Analyze marketing performance metrics and optimize campaigns through trends, trial-and-error, and patterns in marketing data.
  • Logistics: Translate ideas into reality. Enable efforts like influencer partnerships, tabling, and community outreach through research and scheduling.

Onboarding and Initial Training
