We are seeking an experienced Lead Release Manager to take on the responsibility of overseeing our internal release pipelines, ensuring not only timely and effective application deployments, but also providing advanced continuous support post-release. Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and resolve release cycle issues by troubleshooting complex problems and collaborating with necessary teams
  • Take the lead in overseeing dependencies among multiple projects and teams to secure successful releases within scheduled timelines
  • Develop and manage comprehensive release schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  • Strategically maintain and enhance release calendars to synchronize team efforts and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Monitor risks that could potentially impact release scope, schedule, and quality; develop mitigation strategies as needed
  • Conduct thorough reviews on release readiness and milestones to comply with stringent governance standards
  • Lead release meetings to ensure all involved parties are informed and aligned; distribute concise and informative status updates to stakeholders
  • Provide expert support after release, initiate feedback loops, and implement insights to optimize future release processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in release management, with a proven track record of successful large-scale releases
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Extensive background in managing releases on platforms such as Google Play and App Store
  • Advanced proficiency in communicating effectively, reliably, and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated capability to handle and prioritize multiple complex projects and meet critical deadlines
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, coupled with in-depth familiarity with various project management methodologies
  • Leadership skills and experience in guiding teams within a dynamic setting
