Job Description

Insurance Defense law firm with offices in Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal to join their busy firm in Dallas, TX.

Skills & Responsibilities:

-Minimum of 4 years of defense litigation experience needed for this fast-paced, mid-size firm.

-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point), as well as Adobe Acrobat.

-Trial Director or other trial presentation software is essential.

-Knowledge of CaseMap, TextMap, and TimeMap is also beneficial, as experience with WestLaw, Lexis/Nexis, and Accurint.

-Must be able to multi-task and support multiple cases simultaneously.

-Must have experience with billing and time entry, drafting legal documents, and preparing discovery including e-Discovery, records requests and review, redaction of documents, vetting experts, conducting background searches, mediation and trial preparation.

-Must have a professional appearance and demeanor and be able to work in a confidential environment.

Salary: $60,000-75,000 DOE
