Information Governance Coordinator - Silicon Valley, CA

Role:

You will be responsible for managing, protecting, and ensuring the proper use of the firm's information assets.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with legal, IT, and compliance teams to ensure policies meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain secure document management systems (DMS) and ensure proper use by attorneys and staff.
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and client-specific data handling agreements.
• Conduct regular audits of information practices and systems to identify and address compliance gaps.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in information governance, records management, or compliance, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing data (e.g., attorney-client privilege, data privacy laws).
• Proficiency with document management systems (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments) and information security tools.

Compensation:

$70-95k + bonus
