Position: Human Resources Coordinator
Description:
About the role: Encorus Group is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR administration and coordination while also acting as the in-house recruiter. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various HR functions, with opportunities to grow alongside the company. The role will be based at the West Seneca office and support all company locations, including travel to Springville and Depew.
Responsibilities include: - Conducting full-cycle recruitment: creating and posting job ads, sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, making offers, and onboarding.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files and documentation to ensure compliance.
- Inputting new hire data and updating employee records in HR and benefits systems.
- Tracking training completion, coordinating pre-employment and random drug testing.
- Overseeing compliance with labor requirements (posters, trainings, reports such as EEO-1, VETS 4212, NYS EEO).
- Processing leaves of absence requests and administering related documentation.
- Administering HR programs and paperwork including tuition reimbursement, education assistance, and job shadowing.
- Managing employment verifications and administrative HR tasks.
- Providing administrative support for payroll, benefits, and general HR inquiries.
- Assisting in payroll-related functions (time review, processing, reporting).
- Updating job descriptions and supporting HR initiatives as needed.
Requirements: Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Human Resources work experience (internships required; recruiting experience is a plus).
- Passion for people, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to effectively work with a diverse population and all organization levels.
- Proficiency or aptitude to learn HR and benefits administration software systems.
- Strong computer and technology skills; interest in championing tech within HR.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy and precision commitment.
- Organized, adaptable, and flexible work style.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to comply with company drug screening (including pre-employment tests).
- Valid driver\'s license and ability to travel locally.
