Job Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients. You will promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards. You will need to understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions. You will operate multi-line phone system efficiently, accurately answers telephone calls from physicians, nurses, ancillary personnel and other internal and external customers and/or agencies, and accurately connect them with the appropriate hospital personnel. Knowledgeable of the IP cameras, CCTV, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and med gas alarms at all locations. Knowledge to include all equipment in both Command Centers. Assist with employee issuance of keys, badges, parking decals, pagers etc. Accurately communicate and dispatch work orders to include, Security, Maintenance, Environmental Services, Transport, Courier, and Linen Distribution utilizing various communication devices. Interacts extensively with other departments both in written and telephone correspondence. May be called upon to greet, transport patients and conduct courier runs. Provides support in planning, scheduling, and organizing routine department activities.

This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills. You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements.

Pre-employment requirements are to be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license is required. You must have reliable means of transportation and means of communication. Military or security experience is required. You must pass all required background and drug screenings.

$14.00 / hour
