Details &
- Minimum National "C" license; National "B" or above preferred
- Coach 1-2 U13+ teams each season
- Manage, support, and oversee all U13+ teams & coaches
- Help support, educate, and provide professional guidance for all U13+ players on the college recruitment process including but not limited to: team parent & player educational meetings on player resumes, highlight film, and education of all rules, guidelines, and best practices in the modern recruiting landscape
- Work alongside other directors to develop and update a consistent curriculum and playing style for all U13+ teams
- Work alongside other directors develop a U13+ annual calendar, program , and budget based on the needs of the teams & club
- Work within the community to recruit and hire the best possible coaching staff
- Work within the community to grow the program and recruit and attract the most talented players
- Online Survey players and parents within the club seasonally to ensure the program is meeting the needs and goals of players & families.
- Establish relationships with state-wide and regional college coaches and programs
- Help develop, plan, and carry out annual Club-wide meeting for all parents and players
- Help develop, plan, and carry out annual Glacier Surf Appreciation Night with the help of other staff members
- Help develop, plan, and carry out annual Glacier Surf Summer & Winter camps with the help of other staff members and coaches
- Help with managing and running seasonal tournaments that Glacier Surf hosts
- Set and meet fundraising goals with the help of staff members
- Monthly Newsletters for the U13+ teams (March-July; September-December). Topics relative to Glacier Surf SC players including but not limited to: college recruiting; strength & conditioning; parent education and etiquette; the evolution of the modern game, the current status/trend of the game nationally and globally, modern coaching techniques, player spotlights & accomplishments (Surf Select / ODP / HS accolades, etc.)
- Work alongside other staff members to grow, develop, and maintain a professional and quality soccer club
- Constantly reevaluate and work to improve the program and overall player experience
- Salaried candidate would have roughly 10-12 weeks of paid time off (2-3 months) as well as multiple weekends off during the season
- Candidate would need to live in the Flathead Valley (Kalispell, Whitefish, Bigfork, Columbia Falls)
- Candidate will have the ability to work remotely / from home for some of the time and daily tasks
- Our soccer club is an LLC and not a non-profit so all organization decisions are made by the Directors and Staff vs. a board of directors
- Pay TBD based on experience
