We are seeking a talented Freelance Hair and Makeup Artist for an upcoming jewelry photoshoot in San Jose. The ideal candidate will have experience working with naturally curly hair and the ability to create stunning looks that complement our jewelry line.

This is a one-day assignment for our shoot on August 12th.

Based on performance, we will have ongoing shoot needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional hair and makeup artist

• Demonstrated expertise in working with and styling naturally curly hair

• Proficiency in applying camera-ready makeup for professional photoshoots

• Up-to-date knowledge of current beauty trends and techniques

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the model, creative team, and photographer

• Strong time management skills to ensure efficient styling within the shoot schedule

• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes

Mentality

• Creative and innovative approach to hair and makeup styling

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics

• Professional attitude and ability to maintain a positive demeanor throughout a potentially long shoot day

Additional Requirements

• Must have a complete, professional-grade kit with high-quality hair and makeup products

• Ability to travel to San Jose for the shoot on August 12th

• Portfolio showcasing previous work, particularly examples of styling curly hair and makeup for jewelry or fashion shoots
