Your role
Your mission is to provide expert maintenance and repair services for industrial vacuum pumps and associated equipment, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety.
As Field Service Engineer, you will report into the Operations Manager.
You will perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs in strict adherence to manufacturer recommendations, ensuring the longevity and performance of our customers' equipment.
You will troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions by using the latest tools and techniques to resolve issues swiftly.
You will maintain records of all work performed, using advanced hardware and software tools.
You will equip yourself with the necessary tools and ensure their ongoing maintenance to support them in delivering high-quality service.
We encourage you to acquire advanced skills in VSD's, PLC, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and leak audits to provide the best possible solutions.
You will always be ready to serve our customers, participating in a rotating on-call schedule and being prepared for overtime when needed.
You will promote knowledge-sharing and on-the-job training among our colleagues to enhance our collective expertise and provide outstanding service.
You will represent our company with pride, projecting a knowledgeable and customer-centric image to customers, contributing to positive Company branding.
You will perform all responsibilities observing Atlas Copco standards, aiming to understand and meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
You will communicate with all team members to ensure that the job is completed.

You will support in maintaining and improving the QMS and ISO 9001 certification.

A High School Diploma or equivalent required with technical training in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics or HVAC.
1+ years of technical experience with troubleshooting and resolving field equipment issues.
You are knowledgeable in technical expertise, combining mechanical and electrical components.
You have blueprint and technical reading skills
You are familiar with manufacturing/production or assembly-plant working conditions.
You are customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.
You are motivated to achieve targets.
You h ave a valid driver's license.
You can lift up to 50 lbs. and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with continu ous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language
Travel to customer locations, out-of-town and overnight travel.

Job location
As a Field Service Engineer, you will have a dedicated territory working in a hybrid environment remotely from home with travel involved. Our office is located in Michigan City, Indiana. Thus, we are flexible with your location. #Li-hybrid You will travel to our local customer sites and have regular check-ins with management.
