Executive Chef – Long Hospitality

We are Long Hospitality — a young and hungry (pun intended) food & beverage group taking the Asian culinary world by storm. Our award-winning concepts (Michelin Guide, Bib Gourmand, LA Times 101) blend a trifecta of exceptional food, immersive ambiance, and warm hospitality.

We’re looking for a culinary leader who’s ready to stretch boundaries, build kitchens from the ground up, and create menus that turn heads.

As Executive Chef, you’ll collaborate with ownership and our talented Executive Culinary Team to:

• Lead culinary operations across one or more concepts
• Manage culinary programs and kitchen teams
• Collaborate on strategies to improve service, reduce costs, and increase revenue
• Create dishes that are craveable, consistent, and concept-aligned
• Conduct line checks, lead menu rollouts, and uphold quality standards

• Hire, train, and grow a team of emerging leaders
• Foster a kitchen culture that’s professional, positive, and proactive
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment—both physically and mentally

• Control food and labor costs like a pro
• Oversee ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
• Manage deep-cleaning schedules and equipment maintenance
• Participate in weekly leadership meetings to help grow the business

• 5+ years of experience in commercial kitchens
• 2+ years in a leadership role at a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant (Michelin experience is a plus!)
• Calm under pressure and thoughtful in managing people
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
• Strong communication and guest interaction skills
• Reliable, flexible, and all-in on teamwork
• Experience in East Asian cuisine (Chinese/Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese) strongly preferred
