The Dead Rabbit is looking for a Doorperson to join our growing team at The Dead Rabbit ATX! Doorpersons are the first to deliver our “Welcome Home” hospitality philosophy while ensuring customers are of age and in a position to enjoy the experience we offer. In addition, Doorpersons need to assist the Host in managing customer experiences and expectations regarding reservations and other related matters. Doorpersons at The Dead Rabbit must embody our core values of BEST: Being Brilliant, Evolving, Service-Oriented, and Transparent, enabling our company to deliver world-class experiences. A successful candidate must exude these characteristics and competencies consistently.

DOORPERSON ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Embody our core values.
• Welcome our customers with our unique ‘Welcome Home’ hospitality philosophy. 
• Screen customers for age and the ability to enjoy our experience. 
• Maintain the front of the building throughout the service, ensuring it is devoid of debris and garbage. 
• Facilitate the flow of traffic in and out of the building. 
• Follow standard operating procedures for opening and closing and daily versus weekly cleaning tasks. 
• Consistently follow hosting etiquette and technical aspects of the role. 
• Adherence to The Dead Rabbit’s team member handbook.
• Perform related duties as requested by leadership teams.
• Be a team player working with other team members when needed or required.
• Be an effective communicator post, during, and pre-shift, alerting team members to operational issues or concerns.

• Candidates must have a hospitality orientation and experience in similar roles. 
• Candidates must be hungry to learn and grow.

• Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must have the requisite schedule availability.
