Job Description

Position Overview

As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product leadership, design, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure each sprint aligns with business objectives and delivers exceptional value to our customers. Your main focus will be writing user stories, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring that each product release meets both business and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product, design, and technology teams to translate roadmaps into a well-organized backlog with detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that ensure high-quality product delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, creating open lines of communication to understand their needs and priorities.
Facilitate agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure the scrum team is well-prepared and aligned on goals.
Own and manage the sprint backlog, balancing sprint goals with incoming urgent items and bugs.
Maintain an efficient backlog that enables smooth planning and prioritization.
Conduct acceptance testing and provide early feedback to development teams to improve product quality.
Work collaboratively with the development team, design, and QA to resolve issues that arise throughout the sprint cycle.
Lead the creation of product release plans, working with leadership to set realistic expectations for new feature delivery.
Ensure product releases adhere to defined processes, meet high-quality standards, and deliver measurable value to the business and customers.
Proactively address any issues that arise post-release, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
Partner with training, marketing, support, and other stakeholders to communicate product releases and potential impacts.
Gather key metrics on feature releases, report on their performance, and use insights to guide future product development and roadmap prioritization.
Stay informed on market trends, customer feedback, and product performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with teams to make data-driven decisions that optimize product features and enhance user satisfaction.
Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years in a product ownership, project management, or related role.
Proven experience balancing competing priorities, listening to stakeholders, and working with technical teams to implement solutions.
Strong experience with agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Preferred Experience:

Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering productive collaboration.
Ability to facilitate healthy debates and guide teams toward actionable solutions.
Experience working in a matrix management environment and leading without authority.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to adapt to new tools, processes, and systems quickly.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $150,000, with adjustments based on location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
