Big Data Engineer (Remote - Houston, TX)

We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the technology consulting industry. This is a 12+ month contract with the potential for extension (s). This is a REMOTE role in Houston, TX.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The Data Engineering II works with complex data sources to extract data and automates data integration flows to create efficient processes. This role will be learned through executing on behalf of the SMEs and many of the responsibilities are as part of a project or larger initiative.

Required Skills/Experience/Education:

• Looking for someone with at least 8+ years of experience, but not more than 12 years.
• The following skills are all required:
  • Python
  • PySpark
  • Github
  • CI/CD
  • SQL
  • Databricks
• Experience working with complex data sources to extract data and automates data integration flows to create efficient processes.

• Employment Type: W2 ONLY (CPT/OPT-EAD, -EAD, GC-EAD & USC).
• Contracting Period : 12+ months contracting opportunity with a highly potential for extension.
• Job Location: This is a REMOTE role in Houston, TX. Therefore, resources Need to be Local or Nearby the mentioned location (within 50 miles).
• Contract Rate: $60/hr. on W2.
• Interview Process: 60-minute Zoom video.
